Outre son conjoint Alexandre, Julie laisse dans le deuil ses deux enfants Élodie et Jérôme, ses parents Noëlla Bernier et Jocelyn Hamel, sa grand-mère Marie-Berthe St-Sauveur Valois (feu Fernand Hamel), sa sœur Caroline (Marc-André Gravel), son frère Pierre-Luc (Patricia Prince), ses neveux et nièces Madyson, Lexee, Mathis, Thomas et Charlotte ainsi que ses nombreux oncles, tantes, cousins, cousines et amis.
La famille tient à remercier toute l’équipe du CHUM pour leur professionnaliste et la qualité des soins prodigués.
