Mildred was born in Dryden, Ontario on April 19, 1925, to parents Aldred and Audrey Weaver. She received her public and high schooling in Dryden and married Bill Berglund on September 30, 1943, in the Dryden United Church by Rev. Russell Peden.
In 1960, Mildred, Bill and their son Wayne moved to Cranbrook, B.C. In 1962 they moved to Calgary while Wayne attended S.A.I.T. Later they moved to the Davisburg area when Bill retired. They enjoyed living in Davisburg until moving to Sandstone Lodge in Okotoks.
Mildred was an active 5-pin bowler for 50 years and enjoyed playing canasta with the “Card Ladies” group.
Mildred was predeceased by her husband Bill, only son Wayne, and grandson Wes.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Theresa, grandson Don (Jackie), and great-grandchildren Tara, Amber, and Troy; two special nieces, Gloria and Debbie and many caring relatives in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario.
