POLITI, Yolanda (nee Riselli) – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Friday March 22, 2024 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of 64 years to late Luigi Politi (2020). Dearly loved mother of John (Debi) Politi and Dina (Lou) Filice. Cherished Nonna of Karina (Johnny) and Janessa, step-grandmother of Brad, biznonna of Talia and step-great-grandmother of Jenna. Dear sister of Antoinetta DeVellis and sister-in-law of Anna Gravina and Elizabeth Riselli. Predeceased by her parents Giacinto and Giuseppina (nee Pizzicarola) Riselli, brothers Rocco (Marietta) Riselli, Armando (Lina) Riselli, Benny Riselli and Nino (Connie) Riselli, sisters Ida (Armando) Vacca, Filomena (Rocco) Politi, Teresina (Antonio) Lisi, Ascenza (Giovanni) Mollica and brother-in-law (Achille) DeVellis. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Yolanda loved to be with family and friends, visiting, sharing a meal or playing cards. She was a fabulous cook, baker and gardener. She had a strong mind right up until the end, always remembering names, birthdays and family events. Friends are invited to join the family at PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Monday, March 25, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 10:30 am at the funeral home with the Rite of Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum.
