It is with great sadness the family of Lloyd Gordon Mabee, son of the late Gordon an Annie Mabee announces his passing on Saturday March 16th, 2024, at the age of 90. Pops was loved by his children; Will (Pam), Kevin (Gloria), Mark (Janet), Patrick (Tina). Proud Grampy of; Amy, Sammie, Ben, Devon, Melanie, Kyle, Malakyi, Keisha, Jessy, Samantha. Granddad cherished his “Little People” Aubree, Chloe, Katie, Owen, Alva, Sophia, Brayden, Liam, Henry, Evan, Hannah, Charlie. Sister Alice Thorne and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he is predeceased by his daughter Shelley and great granddaughter Georgia. Sisters: Alice Totten, Vivian MacDonald, Florence Coleman, Shirley Mabee. Lloyd will be missed by grandfur Alfie. Lloyd was a long-time employee of Downey Ford with a career span of four decades. After retirement Lloyd loved spending time with family, going for ice cream, fishing, watching wrestling and NASCAR. He especially loved time at the camp and grocery shopping. The family would like to thank the staff at Rocmaura especially the “Big Boss Brenda”.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home located at 230 Westmoreland Rd. Saint John, New Brunswick (506-646-2244). Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Donations to the heart and stroke foundation would be greatly appreciated.
