Obituary of Mary Ann Evans
Mary Ann Evans
1957-2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mary Ann on March 12, 2024. She is survived by her loving husband Gary of 44 years. She is also survived by her two faithful companions – her dogs Karma and Rh3tt, her many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was predeceased by her parents, Carol and Orest Klymochko, of Saskatoon, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ann and Roy Evans of Saskatoon, her brother-in-law Roy Wayne Evans, and her nephew Logan Schatz “C” of the Humboldt Broncos, as well as her many pets throughout her life. Mary Ann’s love for animals was beyond words.
Mary Ann loved to watch a lot of food shows as well as hockey games with Gary. Her favorite team was the Pittsburgh Penguins with Sidney Crosby as her favourite player, much to Gary’s disapproval as his was the Toronto Maple Leafs. She like Sidney so much that she named her Robo-Vacuum – Sidney. In her spare time, she liked to do needlepoint and crochet.
In lieu of flowers, Mary Ann’s wishes are all donations be made to the SPCA.
Service will be held on March, 20, 2024 at 3:30 pm at Saskatoon Funeral Home Chapel.
After the service family and friends are invited to gather at the Edwards Family Centre across the street from the funeral home.
