Marc Lamer
Marc Lamer, 64, passed away peacefully with his brother Luc and sister-in-law Lynn by his side at Kemptville District Hospital on March 10th, 2024 at 1:15pm. The family is deeply saddened by his passing.
Born in Ottawa in 1960, Marc will be fondly remembered by his children; Jared from Kemptville, and Zoë (Daniel Haddad & granddaughter Lennon) from Ottawa.
Marc was predeceased by his mother, Bernice Girard (1933-2023), by sister Lynn (1958-2018) and brother Jacques (1963-2023) He is survived by his brother Luc (Lynn and niece Tessa). Also survived by nephew Guillaume, nieces Michelle, Brigette and Nathalie.
Marc’s love for the water was evident through his careers at Paul’s Boat Lines and Pirate Cove Marina. With his enthusiastic approach to life and can-do attitude he was able foster and maintain many life long friendships. While his passing will impact many lives, his memory will provide a shining light for all that knew him.
He will be truly missed!
A Memorial Service will be held at Holy Cross Church in Kemptville (details to follow at a later date).
