Cliff Barton Obituary
Passed away peacefully at home, with family by his side on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Clifford Isaac Barton at age 85. Beloved husband of Pauline Barton and dear father to Chris Barton (Wendy), Elaine Way (Scott Keech) and the late Phillip Barton (Vicky). Grandfather to Seth, Shalisa, Lacey (Casey) and Maddison, Timothy (Amanda) and Tyler. Great-grandfather to Jack and Sophie. Also survived by sisters Sylvia and Carol and predeceased by 5 siblings. Cliff was born in New Brunswick on December 24, 1938 and later moving to Ontario and settling at White Lake, Erinsville for much of his life. Cliff and Pauline operated Cedar Cove Cottage Rentals on the lake where they raised their family and Cliff managed the Sheffield Community Centre (Tamworth Arena) for many years. A private family graveside service will take place at Christ Church Cemetery in Tamworth. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society or the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
