It is with heavy hearts that the family of Anny Dempsey (nee Skrobek) announce her passing peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood at the age of 79 after a long battle with cancer and dementia.
Beloved wife of Eamonn (Edward) Dempsey. Loving mother of Michelle Liotta (James) and cherished grandma of Johnny and Nolan who have endless memories of grandma pitching and rebounding for them in their driveway after school.
Fondly remembered by her sister, Kim and predeceased by her brother Walter and parents Natalie and Stanley. Lovingly remembered by all her extended family in Canada and Ireland.
Anny will be greatly missed by her family. Anny was a kind soul with a great sense of humour. Per Anny’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anny to Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House in Collingwood would be greatly appreciated.
