It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Ed Williams at age 63. Best friend, cherished and loving husband for 41 years to Maggie (née Peace). Loving father of Nick (Samantha), and Jake (Savannah). Son of Mary and Larry Williams (both pre-deceased). Beloved brother to Kim, Andy, and Rick (pre-deceased). Dear brother-in-law to Dan & Deb, Mike & Judy, and Jane & Bob. Special friend of Jay, Hayley, and Alice. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Ed acquired a love of sports in his teen years, especially hockey, which he carried with him throughout his life. He enjoyed many years coaching his boys, in hockey, baseball, and football. An avid golfer, Ed would enjoy a round or two, rain or shine. He was a lifelong fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Miami Dolphins. Ed recently retired after 42 years at Dofasco. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses who helped fight his battle for the last year. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Bayshore Home Health – Hamilton would be greatly appreciated. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 6, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Ye Olde Squire, 550 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton.
