Obituary of Marjorie Anne Evans
“There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts”
It is with deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of Marjorie Anne Evans of Winnipeg on February 26, 2024.
Margie will be greatly missed by her daughter Megan; mother Shirley; sisters, Diane (Richard) and Joanne; one niece and three nephews Nathane, Connor, Sydnee, and Mack; and numerous aunts and cousins.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of over 25 years, Kenneth John Thompson, who suddenly passed away on May 25, 2022
One of Margie’s passions was getting her hands and feet dirty when gardening. She loved to spend time with her family outdoors.
Marjorie had many struggles throughout her life however, she never lost the ability to brighten up a room and always left an impression on those she met. She graduated with her addiction counsellor certificate with a desire to help people.
Marjorie was most proud of her daughter Megan and her accomplishments.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marjorie’s name to Sara Riel Inc located at 66 Moore Avenue #100, which focus on helping those with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
