TAYLOR, Herbert Rodda Mathias
In hospital after an illness on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 with his family by his side. Herbert “Herb” Taylor of Russell, at the age of 80. Cherished and loving husband of the late Elizabeth Taylor (Corpuz) (d. June 1, 2023). Proud father of Todd (Sheila), Owen (Karen) and Carol Ann. Adoring grandfather of Hudson (Madison), Mathias, Quinte (Cameron) and Paige. Brother of Alison, Stephen, Christine, and the late Lyndon. Son
of the late Wyndham and Lorna (Williams) Taylor. Herb had worked as an Informatics Analyst and Manager. He was a homestead builder, avid gardener, boat builder and sailor. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held privately. If desired, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
