Cornelius (Cornie) S. Dyck of Waldeck SK passed peacefully in his home surrounded by family at the age of 84 on March 1st, 2024. Survived by his wife of 56 yrs Jocelyn(Joe) Dyck, Robert Dyck, Tia Brandt, Megan(Parker)Pekrul-Dyck(Brandt), Albert Dyck (Patricia Fehr), Jayden Gaulton, Alaina Gaulton(Mark), Aneiki Shana Smith (Richard), Teegan Gaulton, Rhonda Dyck, Austin Leibel-Dyck, Leslie Spencer (Brian), Helen Dyck, Triston Smith(Desiree), Destinee Smith, Savannah Smith, Tehya Smith, great grandchildren Jaxon,Sydney, Lavender, William, Benjamin, Jasper, CJ, Killian, Elizabeth, Issac, Xavier, siblings Johnny Annie and Benny. Predeceased by his parents Helena and Peter Dyck, brothers Elmer, Roy, Henry, Abe and Peter , sisters Mary, Kathy, and Edna, niece and nephew Richard and Wanda . He was born on December 8, 1939 and lived with his parents and siblings in their family home in Herbert. He married Joe on April 8,1967. He was a mechanic for many years until he retired in 2009. You could often find him tinkering in the garage on something. He enjoyed model cars, sports, John Wayne, horses and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Memorial donations may be donated to the Cancer society of Canada. Cornie will be missed by his family and friends. There will be a celebration of life at Parkside Memorial in Swift Current on March 9,2024 at 2pm.
