Obituary of Lorna Elsie MacNeil
The family of Lorna Elise MacNeil announce her passing which occurred on February 28, 2024 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Lorna was born in Baie Verte, NB on January 1, 1933, the daughter of the late Mary (Murphy) and George A. Wood.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, Hanwell Road, on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1:00 pm, Rev. Bill Brennan as celebrant. There will be an hour of visitation at the church prior to the Mass. Interment will take place in the Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin in the spring. Donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church – St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, or to a charity of one’s choice.
