It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Verna Cluett of Garnish announces her passing. Verna passed away at the Marystown Retirement Centre on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the age of 94.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her daughter, Joy Grandy (Rodney) of Garnish; granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Robyn Grandy; sister, Blossom Friel; cousins, Belle Moulton and Joyce Mullett; nieces, Anne Marie Friel and Barbara Cirincione; nephew, John Friel; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Verna was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Cluett; parents, William & Matilda Cluett; special cousin, Gordon Day and brother-in-law, John Friel.
The Cluett Family will be accepting visitors at St. Giles Anglican Church, Garnish on:
Wednesday, February 28th
7pm – 9pm
Thursday, February 29th
10am – 12noon
1pm – 4pm
6pm – 9pm
A funeral service will take place at St. Giles Anglican Church, Garnish on:
Friday, March 1, 2024 at 2:30 pm
Interment to follow at St. Giles Anglican Cemetery, Garnish.
In Verna’s memory donations may be made to St. Giles Anglican Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
