Betty Pauline Greenwood, 91, of Kingston Ontario passed away on Feb 24th/2024 peacefully at Providence Care.
Betty was born on Nov 21/1932 to Alice and William Storring in Napanee, Ontario. She worked at Grand and Toy for many years and enjoyed helping others, being an incredible homemaker, making extravagantly wrapped gifts for under her well adored Christmas Trees, ballroom dancing, hosting and entertaining her family and friends, and never tired of visiting her favorite stores in downtown Kingston, always looking fabulous!
Betty married Reg Greenwood in 1958 and they went on to raise a family. She is predeceased by her eldest son Bart and is survived by her daughter Paula and son Tom (Patricia Jagoe).
She is predeceased by her sisters Evelyn Batson (Bud), Dorothy Curran (Fred) and Jean Thompson (Bill).
Service will be held at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, Ont., visitation begins at 1pm with a chapel service at 2pm, followed by light snacks and refreshments at the same location.
Memorial donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
