KOSTECKI, Stefanija (nee Kozarski) – Passed away after a brief illness with her loving family by her side at the St. Catharine’s General Hospital on Sunday February 25, 2024 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of the late Genko (1996) and devoted mother of Daniela (Chris) Stewart and Sally Kostecki. Loving Baba to Nikki and Christopher Stewart. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Ana Haljkevic and Maria (Julian) Nebesny as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Vladislav (2007), Stefica (nee Romanjuk) (2016) Kozarski and brother-in-law Aleksandar Haljkevic. Stefanija valued her family and enjoyed social gatherings with family and friends. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visitation will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Panakhyda will be held at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. A private family Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
