It is with great sorrow that the family announces his sudden and unexpected passing on Wednesday, February 1st, 2023, at Lady Minto Hospital at the age of 46.
Dear son of Fern Monette (Johanne Recoskie) and Myrna Belisle Monette. Dear father of Damien. He will be deeply missed by his brother Jeff Monette (Amanda Massicotte). He also leaves behind his biological mother Patricia Bujold as well as his half-sisters Melissa Bujold, Natasha Bujold and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Dion was an avid outdoorsman as he enjoyed camping and skiing to name a couple. His love for children as well as animals, specifically dogs, was a big part of his life and will never go unnoticed.
Cremation will take place. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 8th, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with a reception to follow. Remembrance donations to the Timmins Humane Society or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
