Catherine Richard,
102, passed away surrounded by her loving family, at Villa Providence
Shediac, on February 3, 2023. Born in Tignish PEI, she was the
daughter of Peter and Therese (Chaisson) Perry.
She is survived by her
two sons: Donald (Annette) of Shediac Bridge and Normand
(Gisèle) of Cocagne; three grandchildren: Marc (Gena),
Brenden (Meagan) and Christopher; two great-grandchildren: Lexie and
Karter as well as several nieces and nephews.
She also leaves in
mourning a daughter, Fernande Comeau (Onil and family) of Val Comeau,
adopted at birth and reunited with Catherine as an
adult.
She was predeceased by
her husband, Yvon (1984) and two brothers: Stanley and Joseph
“Josie”.
According to her
wishes, there will be no visitation. The funeral will be celebrated at
De La Visitation R. C. Church, 416 route 530, Grande-Digue, on Monday,
February 6, 2023, at 3 p.m.
In memory of
Catherine, a contribution to Villa Providence Shediac
“Activities” or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated.
Cremation and funeral
arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation
Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
