With heavy hearts, we wish to inform you that our father, Jim Willoughby, passed away at his home on February 10, 2024.
Jim is survived by his three sons; Shane (Karen) and their children Dana (Matt) and Daniel (Karlee), son Chad (Colleen) and their children Cayley (James), Cassie and Carissa, son Cody and his children Abigail, Bethany and Melangel. He is also survived by his youngest brother Bob (Sue) and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family within the Willoughby, Gateman and Ring families.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, Ruby and Walter Willoughby, two sisters, Shirley and Tillie and three brothers, Vic, Wes and Charlie.
In his youth Jim was very active in the rodeo circuit and ranching lifestyle and he continued to enjoy them throughout his life. Working in the oil patch, throughout Western Canada and overseas for many decades, afforded him that lifestyle that he so loved.
As per Jim’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services to follow.
