Leona “Nonie” Skolrood
With sadness we announce the passing of Leona Margaret Skolrood (nee Muise) at Juravinski Hospital on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 in her 89th year. Reunited with her beloved husband Leonard (1976). Loving mother of Cindy deVries, Penny (Greg) Hamaoka and Jenny (Barry) McDougall. Proud grandmother to Emily, Billy, Tim, Alexander, Nicolaus, Murray and Dakota. Leona is survived by her sister Judy McBride and predeceased by her sister Jacquie and brother Bob.
Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. for a Celebration of Leona’s Life. Cremation has taken place and with private interment Woodland Cemetery. Please sign the Tribute Wall.
