Bettysue Handisyde Obituary
Handisyde, Bettysue Eileen (nee Johnson) – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bettysue on February 5, 2024. Bettysue died peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 79. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Eileen, she is survived by her beloved husband Gordon, was the cherished Mother of Brent (Cathy) and Bradley, a loving Grandmother to Jack, Carter, Etash and Rhys. She will be missed by her sisters Beverley Hall (Terry), Ellen Norton (Larry – deceased) and her dear nephew Kevin (Stephanie). Bettysue worked for the Sherriff’s Office in Milton for most of her career. She enjoyed spending time with her family, travelling with her husband and socializing with their large group of friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CAShh (Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills). A celebration of life will be held later this Spring/Summer.
