The family announces with great sorrow Helen’s passing at the Golden Manor in Timmins on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at the age of 90 years. Beloved mother of Paul, Monique, Jules, Jerry, Nicole, Cassandra and Patricia. She will be sadly missed by her loved ones including numerous grandchildren, jabans, friends and her siblings; Gabriel, John Paul (late Rita), Madeleine (David), Alex (late Kathy), Greg (Paula). Helen was predeceased by her parents Maggie and Luc of Fort Albany (Peetabeck) First Nation, and her brothers Joseph, Michael and Alex (infant). Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from the chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Deacon Michel Néron officiating). The family thanks the Golden Manor for their loving care of their late mother. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
