WHITE, Betty June (nee Eaton) 1929-2024 in her “95th” year
It was so easy to love her and it will be difficult to forget her. Heaven got a bit brighter on February 9, 2024 when Hamilton lost its very own “Betty White”. She never missed a chance to boast about her famous name. She will be immensely missed by her son Rodney and his wife Linda, their son Jason (Chas) and GG Betty’s favorite girls, Maggie and Kayden, who she loved dearly. We are comforted to know she is where she yearned to be, reunited in love with her husband Bill. Betty is survived by her sister, Audrey Laxton (Arnie, deceased), her nephews, Jim Laxton and Rick Lord (Pamela), and her nieces, Barbara Gadsby (Bob), and Teresa Hay. Predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Bernice and Walter Lord. One of her favorite lifetime accomplishments was to become “Great Aunty Betty” to Stephanie Lord, Hillary Lord, Sara Hay and Sam Kuehnen. To Rhonni Harris, Kim Hepburn, Rosanna and Ron Hildreth, Sara and Adam from Centre Mall Lotto, and Brad Dworsky: Thank you for loving her, remembering her and keeping her in your lives for so many years. She truly loved you all. We have no words that can adequately express our thanks to ALL of the staff at the Village of Wentworth Heights for their care, support and compassion. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Betty’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton and Halton. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at P.X.
