It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we, the family announce the passing of Mr. Elzéar Aubé, husband of Marjorie (Aubé) of Middle River which occurred on Friday February 9th at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 82. Born in Free Grant, NB, he was the son of the late Ernest and Late Laura (Hachey) Aubé. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Debbie Aubé (Michel Doucet) and Margaret Doucet; his grandchildren: Jason, Jenna (Jordan Dike) and Jordan; his great grandchildren: Jaxson, Jaycee and Jett. He is also survived by a brother: Lévis Aubé (Shirley) and his sisters: Marie (Gérald), Simonne (Bernard), Émilienne (late Émilien) et Rita Aubé, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is now resting with his daughter Suzanne (2021), his brothers: John, Armand, Gérald and Lorenzo and his sister Cécile. There will be no visiting at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 26th, 2024, from Elhatton Funeral Chapel at 2h00 p.m. In memory of Elzéar, donations may be may to Canadian Heart and stroke Foundation or a charity of choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home in Bathurst. www.elhatton.com
