Mildred Agnes King (1921-2024)
Mildred Agnes King (nee Janack) passed away peacefully at Helen Henderson Care Centre Amherstview, Ontario on February 11, 2024 in her 103rd year.
Mildred was predeceased by her loving husband Rex King. Missed terribly by dear sister May Leslie and predeceased by her twin sister Mary McKnight, Edwin Janack, Ila Cronk and Oliver Janack. She will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. She was a dedicated nurse in the maternity ward at the Oshawa General Hospital. She is known for her kindness, good deeds and her love of baking and shopping. She will be missed by all whose lives she has touched. Thank you to the staff at Helen Henderson for the love and compassion they had for their Millie. A very special thank you to Bill and Cathy Barry from the family for their devotion to Mildred’s care. Thank you as well to Trinity Presbyterian Church Amherstview and Reverend Henna Kim for her spiritual and pastoral care. Cremation has taken place and as per Mildred’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Mildred has expressed she would like for “people to be kind, help others in need and be good to each other.”
Mildred is safe in the loving arms of her saviour God.
