Donovan F. Bryan, a resident of Wallaceburg, formerly Parry Sound passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Saturday February 3, 2024 at Chatham Kent Hospice. Born in Bell Island , Newfoundland 72 years ago. Son of Kathleen and Fred Bryan. Beloved husband of Pat for 55 years. Father of Donovan Bryan. Predeceased by his siblings Fred Bryan, Tony Bryan, Susie Kroeger, Kathy Sears and Paul Bryan. Survived by brothers in law Jim Ellison, Don Ellison and Rob Ellison. Don will also be greatly missed by his devoted dog Spencer. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, extended family and amazing neighbours. Don worked for much of his life as a dedicated social worker, specializing in the field of Family Support. He loved being outdoors, whether snowmobiling, Kayaking and especially long rides on his Harley. He will forever be remembered for his big heart, sense of humor, willingness to always do the right thing and just being that big gentle teddy bear. May his memory be carried along by all those that knew and loved him. Those wishing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider the charity of your choice. There will be no service at this time , a celebration of Don’s life will be planned later.
