Barbara Ann Heartz (nee Walker) Obituary
Barb passed away peacefully with her family by her side, after a brief battle with cancer, at Emmanuel House Hospice, Hamilton. Loving aunt to Bill Milbury and Sarah Laurence (Riley and Keira), and Monica and Doug Dent (Declan and Emmett). Survived by her brother Tom Walker (Corrine), and brother-in-law Euguene Heartz (Joel). Predeceased by her parents Mary and Glen Walker, and her sister Susan Milbury.
Barb will be greatly missed by her family, many friends and neighbours, especially Susan, Beth, Carole, and Janette.
Special thanks to all the wonderful staff at Emmanuel House Hospice for making Barb’s last weeks the happiest and most comfortable.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE& LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 2p.m. – 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Barb to the Emmanuel House Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
