It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Maurice J. Stacey of St. Lawrence announces his passing. Maurice passed away at the U.S. Memorial Health Centre in St. Lawrence on Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at the age of 71.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his daughters, Sonia O’Keefe (Lino) of Paradise and Shona Stacey (Jonathan Bungay) of Shoal Harbour; son, Mark Stacey (Shannda) of Tumbler Ridge, BC; grandchildren, Cabhán, Silas, Anam, Inis, Marcel, Flora and Kathleen; sisters, Angela Tarrant (Jack) of Corner Brook, Margaret Edwards (Anthony) of Lawn, Monica Stacey (Kevin) of Corner Brook and Elizabeth Drake of Lawn; brothers, Ted Stacey (Laurella) of St. Lawrence, John Stacey of Lawn and Hubert Stacey (Lynn) of St. Lawrence; sister-in-law, Ainslie Stacey of BC; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Maurice was predeceased by his parents, Ted & Philomena Stacey; brother, Joe Stacey; sister-in-law, Nora Stacey and brother-in-law, Owen Drake.
In honoring his final wishes cremation will take place.
