Don McInnes passed away peacefully with his family at his side on January 27th, 2024 at the West Parry Sound Health Center. Beloved husband of Theresa for over fifty years. Don was a proud member of the OPP, serving at both Parry Sound and Sebringville detachments before retiring as Staff Sergeant from the Exeter detachment.
Don was one of those exceptionally rare people whose selflessness helped us all see the world in a better way. He was unfailingly kind, and taught us how important it is to listen to a friend, play catch with a child, and make sure everyone always has a safe ride home.
“Pa” is forever loved and remembered by his family: Brian, Christie, Tony, Eva, and Lili. Lovingly remembered by his brother Bob and family. A celebration of Don’s life will be held at a later time.
Donations in his honour may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
