Canobie, NB – It is with great sadness we the family, announce the passing of Thomas Russell Knowles, aged 56 which occurred at home on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, after a battle with ALS. From Canobie he was the son of the late Russell Knowles.
Thomas leaves behind his wife Lisa (Driscoll) Knowles of 35 years, children; Jonathon (Emily) Knowles, Cheyenne Knowles, Grandsons; Caleb Knowles, Hudson Knowles, Sister; Lorna, father-in-law Merlyn Driscoll, and many nieces, nephews, sister and brother in laws. He was predeceased by his son Jesse Knowles and mother-in-law Adeline Driscoll.
family would like to thank the extra mural, the ALS society, Dr. O’Connell, as well as many friends and family that have helped during this difficult time.
There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. Funeral service was held on Thursday February 1, 2024, at 1 p.m. from St. Albans’s Church, Salmon Beach, for anyone who would like to join in the celebration of his life. Burial will take place on Wednesday, July 10th at 2 p.m. from Christ Church Anglican cemetery. Donations in memory of Thomas can be made to the ALS Society or a favorite charity. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
