Loving Mother and Grandmother, Alice-Jean (Barnhill) White, 94, of Stettler Alberta, passed away on January 20th, 2024.
Alice-Jean was born on August 30th, 1929, to Alexander and Alice (Monroe) Barnhill in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Alice-Jean married Ray White June 23rd, 1951. They built their home in Stettler, Alberta, raising three children: Alan, Gary and Bruce White. Alan had three children, Cheri and Mackenzie with first wife Patti (Blomquist) and son Regan with his widow, Lois (Poitras).
Alice-Jean was predeceased by her husband Ray White, son Alan White and brother Al Barnhill. She is survived by her sons; Gary White of Edmonton and Bruce White (Wendy) of Red Deer, her grandchildren; Cheri (Scott) Treasure of Edmonton, Mackenzie White of Utah, Regan (Lindsay) White-O’Neil of Calgary, and great-grandchildren; Jonah, Maxwell, Vivian and Henry Treasure, Tenly, Clark and Amy White, and Everett White-O’Neil, as well as other family and dear friends.
A celebration of life for Alice-Jean will be held in the spring, friends and family will be notified.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to an organization of their choice.
