Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton, on Monday, January 22, 2024, Fr. Robert K. Dunn in his 79th year. Beloved son of the late St. Gerard (née Grace) and the late Stephen Dunn. He will be sadly missed by his brother Fr. Stephen Dunn C.P. and predeceased by his sisters Eleanor Nespal (the late John), and Dervilla Patrice Dunn. He will also be missed by Anne Brooks (the late Bill), Paul Nespal (Annette), and Barbara Adele Nespal. Fr. Dunn was a Catholic Priest for the Hamilton Diocese serving as Pastor at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Hamilton, St. Patrick’s Church, Cambridge, and St. Michael’s Parish Oakville, and as Chaplain at the Precious Blood Monastery, Hamilton. Visitation will be held at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, 620 Rymal Rd. E., on Thursday, January 25 from 4 to 7 p.m., with a Prayer Vigil at 6:45 p.m. Visitation will continue at St Catherine of Sienna Church on Friday, January 25 from 10 a.m. to the time of Father’s Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington at 2 p.m.. Memorial donations to St Lawrence the Martyr Parish, Hamilton, (www.stlawrencehamilton.ca) or St Catherine of Sienna Parish, Hamilton, (www.catherineofsienachurch.ca) would be appreciated by the family.
