His career continued at Don McKinnon Ford and finally Don Schnurr Motors. He enjoyed curling with friends, but he loved singing with friends even more. He was a devoted member of St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church, where he would be most comfortable where others weren’t…..the choir. He would go on to sing with the Grey Bruce Singers and most recently the “Sing, Sing, Sing Show Choir. Larry was blessed with many close friends that he cherished until the end.
Survived by devoted wife, Jean (nee Smith) Lahn of Hanover. Loved father of Nancy Jean Lahn of Owen Sound. Larry will be remembered by his “daughter of choice” Jake Van Camp (Ben Eurbey) of B.C. Remembered by his sisters in law Ruth Lahn of Woodstock and Mary Ellen Lahn of Waterloo as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. He will be missed by Jean’s side of the family as well as his extended family from all over. Predeceased by his parents, siblings Gerald (Audrey) Lahn, Ken (Marg) Lahn, Rob Lahn, Don Lahn and Lloyd (Shirley) Lahn.
