D’abord enseignant, il deviendra très tôt directeur d’école à Laval. Peintre paysagiste canadien, il aimait la nature et la chasse.
Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil ses trois enfants Philippe, Vincent (Annie-Catherine Cloutier) et Janick, ses petits-enfants Arnaud, Alexis et Mathias, ainsi que plusieurs parents et amis.
Selon ses volontés, aucune cérémonie n’aura lieu.
La famille tient à remercier le personnel du CHSLD Ste-Dorothée pour leur soutien et les bons soins prodigués.
