Hunter, Terry Laurie – 56 of North Noel Road NS, passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2024, in the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Windsor NS on May 31, 1967, he was the son of Ladene (White) and the late Laurie Hunter.
Terry was a man of few words, but his love shone brightly through fierce loyalty, protectiveness and support he gave freely to family and friends. He was a very hard worker, no matter what crew Terry was a part of, they were happy to have him on it.
Terry had a passion for the outdoors, exploring on his buggy, dog sledding, walking trails or the beach with Amanda and their huskies, Solomon, Memphis and Onyx.
Terry LOVED coffee and sweet treats of all kinds; a fresh batch of cookies didn’t stand a chance with him around.
He will be remembered for his kind, gentle and helpful nature, Terry will be dearly missed by family, friends and all who knew him.
Besides his mother, Terry is survived by wife Amanda (Oakley), sisters Annette (Lauren) Patterson, Tammie Hunter, Heather (Brady) Rhines; brother Jeff (Robin) Hunter; stepdaughter Melissa Snow (Stephen) and his nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life in memory of Terry will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 1:30 to 3:30pm at stepdaughter, Melissa Snow’s home.
