Bo Almon Obituary
It is with a crack of thunder that Bo (Terry) Arthur Almon entered the gates of heaven on January 14, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born (whether anyone was ready or not) on September 6, 1963, he was the son of the late Tim and Blanche Almon.
Bo was a proud agitator, and the more he teased you, the more he loved you. You always knew where you stood with Bo, and he wouldn’t mince words if he had something to say. He was a jack of many trades and held various positions such as chef at the TD Station, cook at Coastal Tide Restaurant in St. Martins, all the way to EMT, welder in Alberta, and even worked as a crane/safety inspector. Above all else, he loved his large family – especially his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Bo treasured time spent with them all and the feeling was mutual. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Left behind to miss his wily antics are his siblings: “Dindy” Rhonda (Steve) Foster, Laura (George) Ferguson, Tammy Almon, Darlene Almon, “Oggie” Tim (Trudy) Almon, and “Sacky” Brent Almon; nieces and nephews: “Taffy” Georgie (Jamie) Ferguson, “Na-Na” Alichia (Corey) Ferguson, Nat (Paul) Cormier, Joel Foster, Robin Duke, Erin Duke, Hannah Duke, “Oatmeal” Amelia Almon (Nick Yorke), and Jacob Almon; great-nieces and nephews: Zachary, Jessie, Savanna, and Sean; aunts and uncles: Benny (Mary Jane) Hughie, Elsie (Eldene) Mannett, Edna (Robert) French, Jeanie Buchannan, and special aunts Carol (Chesley) Benjamin, and Brenda (Rocky) French; many, many cousins; as well as very special friends: Lynn and Randy Barton. Besides his parents and grandparents, Bo was predeceased by, his uncle “Ducky”, and his aunts Pat, Rita, Ruthie, and Mona.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). A visitation for Bo will be held at the St. Martins Baptist Church, 211 Main St, St. Martins, NB, on Thursday, January 18, 2023, from 11AM – 2PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 2PM. Memorial donations in memory of Bo can be made to Lakewood Headstart, SPCA, St. Martin’s Baptist Church, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
