It is with very heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Stella Chretien (Nee Duhaime) at the age of 86 in Sault Ste. Marie, On, on January 13, 2024.
You have always been the rock in everyone’s life and most selfless person anyone could ever had the opportunity to know.
Stella was born in St. Charles to parents Isabelle Duhaime and Sylvester Duhaime. She is survived by her siblings Hubert (Velda), and Francoise Gordon (Stan) and her children Denis (Nicole), Gerald, Lynn, Fernand, Jean-Marc (Lori) and Charles.
Stella leaves behind many grandchildren: Julie Boudreau, Tina Chretien, Daniel Lalonde, Melanie Vanderlift, Michele Tremblay, Megan Cameron, Stephanie Verilli, Marc Chretien, Brooke-Lynn Chretien, Bronson Chretien, Katrina Zuccato and many great grandchildren that she loved dearly.
No funeral or celebration of life will be held as per Stella’s wishes.
