Edward Joseph Jesso, 70 years old of Baker Settlement passed
away on January 12, 2024 in South Shore Regional Hospital,
Bridgewater. Born on December 18, 1953 t home in Ship Cove, Port au
Port NL, to the late Howard and Alma (Young) Jesso.
Eddy
came to Nova Scotia at the age of 13 and he went on the scallop boats
until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Sharon
(Veinot) (Tanner) Jesso; son Rodney Jesso; stepson Jonathan (Holly)
Tanner; stepdaughter Lisa-Mae (Adam) Eisenhauer; grandson Antonio
Jesso; step grandson Austin Tanner; sisters Mercedes (Roy) Dunn,
Kentucky, USA; Patricia (Wayne) Lucas, Alice Benoit, Ann Bullen (Carl
Benoit), all of NL; several nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Donald
and Rodney Jesso; sister-in-law Patsy Benoit.
There will be
no visitation at the funeral home. A public service will be held in
Baker Settlement Cemetery 2:00pm August 18, 2024. Memorial
donations may be made to the Baker Settlement Cemetery or the charity
of your choice. Arrangements under the direction of the R.A. Corkum
Funeral Home, Wileville, where on-line condolences may be made by
