Gary Caslick Obituary
Gary passed away peacefully at home on January 13 with his wife and soulmate of 33 years at his side Marie Petrie. He leaves his children Darren Petrie (Becky), Donna Petrie (Sebastian) and his chosen daughter Jody Core-Douglas. Grandfather of Derek Petrie (Taylor), Joshua Petrie (Olivia) and his chosen granddaughter Jaclyn Core (Kieran). Lovingly remembered by the VanEek, Riehl, Satchell and Caslick families.
Gary would like to thank all his friends who have been with him on his journey, the caregivers and Murphy, his wife, nurse, friend and special angel.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held in the Reception Centre of the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Saturday, January 20, from 2-5 p.m. with words of remembrance at 3:30 p.m. Memorial donations in Gary’s memory may be made to the Stratford Youth Soccer ( a yearly award is presented to female athlete of the year in Derek Petrie’s memory) or to Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth. www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
