Ronald Turner Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald (Ron) Hollingsworth Turner announce his passing on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a period of failing health. Ron was born in Saint John, February 16, 1947 the eldest son of the late Hollingsworth (Holly) and Helen (Lyons) Turner.
Ron was a professional trucker driving for Holt’s Transfer (Labatt’s), Expert Delivery, and Crosby Molasses. He could turn those 18 wheelers on a dime and always enjoyed a good snowstorm to display his driving skills.
Cards, board games, sports, music, dancing and the Toronto Maple Leafs were just some of his interests throughout his life. His greatest joy was his boys. Their happiness was a priority and his support of their interests and ambitions was how he showed his love.
Ron is survived by his two sons Steven (Tara) of Saint John and Christopher (Sandra) of Fredericton; grandchildren Kaleb and Jakey; and his siblings William (Anita) and Robert Turner, Susan (Donald) Whittaker and Donna Whittaker all of Saint John and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years Kathryn (Stevens) Turner and his beloved sister Nancy Bonnell. Ron will be missed by brother-in-law Robert Bonnell and sister-in-law Wendy (Gary) Cornfield.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Monday, January 15, 2024 from 6-8. The funeral will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 16 at 11. Interment will take place at a later date at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
