Owner of Hodson’s Parcel Service and life-time member of Peterborough Golf & Country Club
It is with great sadness that Tony’s family announces his passing on Monday, January 8th, 2024, at his residence, at the age of 79.
Beloved father of Maria Bell (Tedd). Cherished Papa of Alyson Bugg (Josh), Meghan Bell (Al Kidd), Teague Bell, and Alyvia Bell. Proud great-grandfather of Eddie, Theo, Archie and Ollie. Dear brother of Karen, Paul (Lynda), Perry (Kellie) and the late John. Adored by his nephew, many nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews. Tony will be sadly missed by his dear friend Barb Wood. Predeceased by his parents Jean (nee Cromie) and Alfred Mattucci.
Tony was a fan of all sports. He was an avid golfer and boasted that this coming season would be his 49th year as a member at Peterborough Golf & Country Club. Lastly, he loved to spend quality time with his family, often cooking a big batch of his homemade pasta sauce – a true family favourite.
In keeping with Tony’s wishes, cremation and interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Peterborough, has taken place. There will be a celebration of his life at the Peterborough Golf & Country Club, 1030 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.
