Obituary For Debbie Ann Mercer
December 16, 1962 – December 24, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we mournfully announce the unexpected passing of Deborah Ann Mercer on December 24, 2023, in Grande Prairie, AB.
For those of you who ever knew or met Debbie, you knew that she was so generous and kind to everyone. She would talk the ears off anyone in her presence, and she always loved a good laugh. Her family meant everything to her, and she would do everything in her power to make sure everyone was safe and happy. Tim Horton’s will probably go out of business now seeing how much Debbie enjoyed her Tim’s coffee.
Debbie loved to look at Facebook to see pictures of her family and life-long friends. She could spend hours commenting on pictures, laughing at funny posts, and listening to her favorite live country music videos. Debbie would give people the world if she could. She always put the needs of others before her own. She was loved and cherished by many and will be greatly missed.
Left to mourn her passing is her mother, Edna Piercey, her spouse David Snow, her daughters Sheena Mercer and Brittany (Lester) Mercer, her brothers Glenn, Raymond, and Brian Piercey, and sister Janice (Ellis) Piercey. She is also missed by her granddaughters Jayda Rae Mercer, Cambria Jean Spears, as well as her extended family- Tony and Barb Harvey, Roz, Dean, and Holly McGill, and many more nieces, nephews, and family members from near and far.
Debbie was pre-deceased by her father Raymond Piercey, her cousin and life-long friend Florence Williams, and her nephew Randy Piercey.
A Celebration of Life and Gathering of Friends will be held on Saturday, July 13th, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Debbie’s home in Bay Roberts, NL. Please join us as we celebrate the life of our beloved Mother with fond memories, country music, and her favorite food- wings and BBQ.
