Noa Kay Dealy Obituary
In Loving Memory of Miss Noa Kay Dealy
December 20th, 2017 – January 6th, 2024
Our hearts are absolutely crushed to announce that our sweet Noa grew her wings and went to Heaven. Her peaceful passing occurred at home in the arms of her Mommy and Daddy on Saturday, January 6th, 2024, surrounded by the loving and comforting embrace of her family, spending the day receiving so many cuddles. She celebrated her 6th birthday this past December 20th, in which we shared the absolute best day, and a beautiful Christmas was shared at home.
Born on December 20th, 2017, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, NB, Wesley and Kenda (Somers) Dealy were gifted with the most perfect little angel, daughter, Noa Kay Dealy. Affectionately known as “Noey”, “Bubby”, or “Queen Noa”, Noa was so very loved. She has touched so many hearts. Noa has been shown so much love from many people from the day she was born, even before she made her entrance into the world, she was much loved. Her gift was teaching us about unconditional love, compassion, hope, strength, resiliency, and the importance of family and friends. Noa enjoyed soaking in snuggles from her loved ones. She loved playing with family and friends, and especially loved being outdoors, driving in the side-by-side, and spending time in the water. Noa adored being around a crowd and listening to everyone talk. She attended Max Aitken Academy and was in Grade 1. Back in 2018, answers were received and Noa was diagnosed with PCH2 (Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia Type 2), which is a rare genetic disease, marking the official beginning of our PCH journey. Noa is and always will be our Superhero. We love you Noey!
Noa is survived by her loving family which includes her parents, Wes and Kenda; grandparents: Kirk and Kim Somers of Halcomb, NB, and Keith and Brenda Dealy of Miramichi; and great-grandparents: Joan (Mike) Hannah of Miramichi, and Arthur Somers of Miramichi; aunt, Kailla Kenny (Kody) of Miramichi; uncle, Russell Dealy (Candace) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; aunt, Sara Harper (Jonathan) of Aulac, NB; and very special cousin squad and her biggest little cheerleaders: Kwyn and Krew Kenny, Brooke and Emmett Dealy, and Carson, Keaton, and Payton Harper.
Noa was predeceased by both her paternal and maternal great-grandparents.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, January 11th, 2024, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, at River Church, 2601 Route 420, Sillikers, NB. A Celebration of Noa’s Life will be held on Friday, January 12th, 2024, at 2 PM, at River Church, 2601 Route 420, Sillikers, NB, with The Reverend Dr. Les Somers officiating. Interment will occur at a later date in Lyttleton Baptist Cemetery, NB.
We are so thankful for all the people in our lives who have provided wonderful care for Noa, including her dedicated healthcare team at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, IWK, and NB Extra-Mural, as well as all those who those who have visited, for all kind deeds and actions, and for those who have been praying and thinking about our sweet girl as you followed along with our PCH journey.
