Lola “Kay” Linton Obituary
Peacefully, after a long illness, Lola Kenolyne Linton passed away on January 6th, 2024 at the Georgetown Hospital, at the age of 94.
Pre-deceased by her loving husband, Harry James Linton. Loving mother of Paul, Christine, Scott and Keith. Proud grandmother of Lorna, Ryan, Ben, and Abby and great-grandmother of Jackson.
Kay, as she liked to be called, was active with the Girl Guides of Canada and a hospital volunteer wherever she lived.
After she married, Kay and Harry moved to Sault Ste. Marie, where they joined Central United Church, and found lifelong friends, most of which are no longer with us.
The family would like to thank Edgewater Seniors Residence Staff for welcoming and caring for Kay. Also, many thanks to the Georgetown Hospital Medical Staff.
Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Wednesday January 10th, 2024 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service held in the chapel at 11:00am. Followed by a light lunch in the Trafalgar Room. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Norval at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Kay’s preferred charity, Operation Smile.
