Frances Ann Bakos
June 29, 1946 – January 5, 2024
Frances (Buszkiewicz) Bakos passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 5, 2024 at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Mickey Bakos, and devoted mother to Michael Bakos and Michelle (Thor) Eaton. She is lovingly remembered by her friends, family and neighbours, especially her sisters, Cecile Catry and Sophie Horvath. Along with her late sister Irene Borbely, they shared an unbreakable bond and cherished memories.
Frances’s life was a testament to her many passions. She found joy in gardening, creating a world of beauty and tranquility in her own backyard. Her love for animals knew no bounds, especially for her cherished dog, Rusty, a faithful companion. She enjoyed a great debate, a word puzzle to dig into and spending quality time with family and friends.
In remembering Frances, we celebrate her kindness, her nurturing heart, and the delight she found in life’s simple pleasures. Her legacy extends beyond her family, touching lives with the compassion and love she so freely gave.
Her warm presence and spirited conversations will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
Private memorial arrangements have been made. The Bakos’ would like to thank friends and family for their thoughtfulness during this difficult time.
