It is with great sadness and sorrow that the family announces the passing of Guy Bélanger, on Saturday, July 27th, 2024 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, at the age of 67 years. Guy fought a short, but painful battle with cancer.
Loving husband to Céline Berthiaume-Bélanger. A loving father to Ti-Guy Bélanger (Julie), Crystale Bélanger (Cody), a loving stepfather to Cindy Morgan (Jamie) and Jessie Lachapelle (Susie). Beloved grandfather to Joshua, Joey, Nevaeh, Dylan, Justice, Raven, great-grandson, beloved step-grandfather to Haven, Hayes, Brooklynn, Aaron and Henry.
Dear son to the late Georges Bélanger and Huguette Charlebois (late Paul Charlebois). Brother to Raymond Bélanger and Denis Bélanger (Anne).
Guy dedicated 45 years to his career as a plumber and worked at Vale for 28 and a half years. He was a proud member of the Pipe Fitters Union.
Guy had a passion for fishing, finding peace and joy in the tranquility of nature. He was an avid hockey fan, with a special devotion to his favorite team, the Montreal Canadiens. Guy cherished watching their games, celebrating their victories, and sharing his love for the team with family and friends. His love for woodworking was evident in the meticulous craftsmanship of his creations, each piece reflecting his dedication and skill.
He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
