It is with great sadness that the family of Herbie Russell Waldon announce his passing on December 25, 2023, unexpectedly in his home in Neebing, Ontario. Herbie was born on December 7, 1973 in Thunder Bay, Ontario to Lynda and Russell Waldon, the youngest of three children. In his early years, he spent much of his time camping and exploring at Batwing Lake.
Throughout his life he enjoyed building relationships with friends and family. Herbie was always someone who would spark up a conversation with anyone and never made them feel left out, and his presence was always enjoyed. He spent over 30 years passionately working a career in the mining industry. The thing he loved the most was spending quality time with his family.
Herbie is lovingly remembered by his sons Quinton, Russel (Mariella), Rory (Carrianne), Grandchildren Arthur and Patrick, father Russell Waldon, sister Brandy (Peter), brother Steven, niece Tiffany (Curtis), nephew Christopher and numerous other family members. Predeceased by Mother Lynda and many other family and friends.
We will never forget the lessons and values you have instilled in us, and you will always be in our hearts. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date for close family and friends.
