It is with great sadness that the family of the late Warrick William Payne announce his passing on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 78 years. He leaves behind his wife: Audrey “Bess” Payne; his children: Edgar (Liane), Angela (Brian), and Alex (Annette); 10 Grandchildren; 7 Great-grandchildren; siblings: Melvin (Shirley), Una (Robert), Ira (Maxine), Bernard (Yvonne), Verna (Arthur), Wanda (Ivan), Vida (Larry), and Randy (Connie); sisters-in-law: Dallas, Thelma, and Tania.
Warrick was predeceased by his parents: Stephen and Lillian Payne and siblings: Bonnie (Jack), Josie (Bill), Edgar (Beatrice), Margaret (Bill), Stephen “Ed”, Abby, Alpheus, and Floyd.
Friends and family may visit St. Nicholas Anglican Church in Cox’s Cove on Monday, January 1st from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd at 10:30am from St. Nicholas Anglican Church with Rev. George Critchell officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery.
