Died peacefully on December 26, 2023 at the age of 91, surrounded by her loving children.
Born in Vasto Marina, Italy, on January 22, 1932. Grazia immigrated to Canada in June 1954 to join her fiancé, Nicola, to whom she was married for 61 years.
Devoted Mamma to Barbara (Paul), Anna Maria, and Enzo (Rosemary). Loving Nonna to Phillip (Stéphanie), Rachel (Anthony), Sarah (Justin), Stephen and Katherine, and Bisnonna to her four great-grandkids.
She will also be missed by her brother Nicola (Lucia), as well as her sister Concetta (Luigi) and many relatives and friends in Canada and abroad.
Predeceased by her cherished brothers Giuseppe, Cesario and sister Angelina.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, January 10 at 9:30 a.m. at Yves Légaré Complexes Funéraires, 7200 Newman Boulevard, LaSalle, QC H8N 1X2
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 10, 2024 at 11:00 am at Madre Dei Cristiani Church, 7935, rue Lefebvre, LaSalle, and thence, to Cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges.
Our mom will be forever remembered for her fervent faith and her love for life and music.
Our family would like to sincerely thank Fr. Mussie and Fr. Donbosco for their spiritual accompaniment. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Dr. Mott and his dedicated medical team at the Hôpital de LaSalle for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to La Fondation de l’Hôpital LaSalle or a mass in Grazia’s memory at Madre dei Cristiani Church would be appreciated.
