With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Frederick Kelly (73) of Brant-Haldimand Norfolk. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on December 29th from lung cancer.
Fred will be lovingly remembered and missed by the love of his life Diane Jean Gordon, his children Cherie Donato (nee Gordon) and Amy Harry (nee Gordon), his grandchildren Brandi, Holly, Janelle, Brezi, Brooke, Reahn, Delanee and Cole and great grandchildren Grayson, Kaiya and Hudson.
Born to the late Norman James Kelly and Kathleen May Kelly on July 31st, 1950 and brother to Donna Skinner, Linda Stoffelsen, and the late Willam Kelly (Billy).
In Fred’s early years he was a mechanic and tire shop owner. He met the love of his life 38 years ago and loved her dearly until his final day. He was a kind and supportive spouse, father, grandfather, son, cousin, uncle, nephew and friend. He could always draw a laugh with his amazing sense of humour. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to a short graveside service at Garnet United Church (713 Concession 10 Walpole, Hagersville, ON N0A 1H0) on January 6th at 11am, immediately followed by a celebration of life at their family home (11 Alexander Boulevard, York, Ontario N0A 1R0) where we welcome you to come share in fellowship, light snacks, and memories in honour of Fred’s life.
